Shakti Jewelry is a mutual endeavor of Shakti and Will Navran, joining their hearts and talents to bring you a selection of the most unusual jewelry. The simple lines of design of their pieces, lovingly created with quality craftsmanship, have a timeless and elegant beauty.

Shakti and Will apply ancient knowledge of the metaphysical aspects and significance of birthstones to their jewelry, endowing it with both beauty and deeper meaning. They handcraft each piece at their studio on the island of Maui, Hawaii, inspired and nourished by the Aloha spirit and the beauty of the island.

Shakti has been following her calling as an artist and jewelry designer since 1977. She was trained in the European tradition of jewelry making as an apprentice and art student in Cologne, Germany, where she had a studio and gallery for many years.

Will began making jewelry in 1988 after traveling to Bali, Indonesia, where he was inspired by the Balinese craftsmanship. Later he studied at Revere Academy in San Francisco, but he is largely self-taught. His fascination with the beauty and symmetry of natural minerals and crystals has been a guiding influence in his jewelry designs, using the crystal or mineral as the central focus of the piece and embellishing it with cut and polished gemstones.
